CPA Talent only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to CPA Talent’s website choose to interact with CPA Talent in ways that require CPA Talent to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that CPA Talent gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who want to join our mailing list to provide a name and email address. Those who engage in transactions with CPA Talent – by purchasing services or products, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. CPA Talent does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
CPA Talent may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. For instance, CPA Talent may monitor the most popular articles on both CPATalent.com and access.cpatalent.com. CPA Talent may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, CPA Talent does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
CPA Talent discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on CPA Talent’s behalf or to provide value-added products or services; or (ii) partner organizations at the sole discretion of CPA Talent management. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using CPA Talent’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, CPA Talent discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when CPA Talent believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of CPA Talent, third parties or the public at large. If you are a customer or website visitor of CPA Talent and have supplied your email address, CPA Talent and/or partners may send you email to tell you about new stuff, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on in the accounting world. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. CPA Talent takes reasonable measures to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Policy Changes or Business Transfers
You may not know this, but the FTC requires that all web sites tell you about how they earn revenue. This is doubly true if the site ever offers products for sale, or provides readers with links to useful products/services. For example, if someone takes me out to a big fancy lunch to thank me for telling my readers about a new CPA exam course, I should disclose that.
To cover myself legally, and keep the site easy for you to read and use, I’m creating a this “one-stop-shop” disclosure here. You can assume it applies to the entire site. Here goes: If you see a link from CPA Talent related to products or services, assume that CPA Talent or its affiliates are receiving a reasonable commission if you choose to buy something. Examples of commissions include a commission on an Amazon.com purchase, a t-shirt, lunch, or a percentage of the sale. Do your research, and never buy anything (online or offline) without checking if it’s a good fit for you.
